How You Can Help

(This is a grassroots campaign. Our success depends on your support and assistance.)

OUTSIDE KOOTENAI COUNTY – If you live outside Kootenai County Idaho

  1. PRAY – We daily have new challenges and new opportunities. We are in constant need of wisdom.
  2. SHARE – Share our campaign with others, especially with friends here in Idaho. Refer them to this web site. Idahoans For Hollingsworth
  3. GIVE – People can deliver literature but finances are needed for printed material, signs and other advertising. Even many small donations indicate broad grassroots support. Please see our page on support.
(Checks should be made to: Idahoans For Hollingsworth and sent to: 3130 N. Conference Dr, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 83815)

INSIDE KOOTENAI COUNTY

  1. ALL THE ABOVE – Pray, Share and Give.
  2. SIGNS – If we can put a sign in your yard drop us a note with your name and address. We also have some 8-1/2 X 11 tag board signs for use in business office windows. If you think of someone who might let us put up a sign do contact them for us, or give us their name and phone number and we will do so.
  3. COFFEES – Small group meetings are called coffees. They have shown themselves to be a very effective means of reaching others with our message. Just invite in a few friends and neighbors, provide coffee and maybe a simple dessert. We will speak a few minutes, with time for questions, then fellowship. We usually want to start at 7:00 pm and end before 8:30 if possible. Contact us with a possible date and we will confirm same, or suggest another if that is already full.

OUR OPPONENT – George Sayler, a retired high school teacher, is the Democrat incumbent.

He has generally supported issues out of sync with his district, like more restrictive day care regulations which would not make any child safer, but would restrict parent’s right to choose who watches their children.

He has also opposed any law that would make abortion more difficult, such as this year’s informed consent law.

He has also opposed any relaxing of standards or increase in the number of charter schools, schools that have a large waiting list indicating popular support.
